antwan byrd - writer & production
Antwan Byrd is a writer, singer, producer and musician in which God has blessed his talents over his life. God has been exceedingly great to me even when life seems unfair Byrd states as he started singing in church at the young age of 2 years old. It was at this early age were Antwan fell in love with Christ and the Word of God. Mr. Byrd grew up under the teachings of his grandmother Apostle Ruth H. Byrd at the Deeper Truth Miracle Deliverance Church in Yonkers, NY.
Mr. Byrd was a member and featured soloist for the multi award winning Lincoln High School Gospel Choir under the tutorage and direction of Cecilia T. Meyers. Mr. Byrd attended Middle Tennessee State University and became a member of the Alpha Omega Ministry of Belle Aire Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, TN and began to embrace and learn the true meaning of true worship.
While in Tennessee Mr. Byrd started several vocal groups including Purpose, Omni, and most recently Life After Death. After truly acknowledging his call to ministry he received his licensure through the Cornerstone Church Ministries in Smyrna where he faithfully served under Pastor Derek Purser.
God has connected Mr. Byrd to several great men who have given him knowledge and wisdom on being a man of God full of integrity and character.
