Reverend Gleason Robert Samuel Rogers is a native of Nashville, TN. Reverend Rogers is a twenty-one year old ordained minister at Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church in Nashville TN.
Reverend Rogers' extremely active church life demonstrates his strong faith and fear of the Lord. Reverend Rogers is the director of all choirs of his church and the president of the Another Level Choir. Reverend Rogers has served as the President of Business Professionals of America and the President of DECA. Reverend Rogers is a member of the Interdenominational Ministers Fellowship. He is also extremely active in the Nashville City Baptist Association. Reverend Rogers works very diligently with the Lipscomb University Multicultural Affairs and is a Chapel leader for the University. Understanding the importance of a healthy family, Reverend Rogers help to promote healthy family relationship through NAAHMI, a non-profit organization.
Reverend Rogers accepted his calling in February of 1999, and preached his first sermon on June 13, 1999. Reverend Rogers was licensed shortly after he preached his first sermon to exercise his gifts. Since preaching his first sermon, Reverend Gleason Rogers has preached at the Ryman Auditorium, participated in the Billy Graham Crusade, and preached at local and non local churches. He is very active member in the NAACP. Reverend Rogers has also been vast at delivering the I Have a Dream speech by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This speech has lead Reverend Gleason Rogers to four gold metals in speaking and afforded him the opportunity to be the guest speaker several times for the annual Let Freedom Ring concert. His speaking gift has also allowed him the opportunity to travel nationally speaking to many.
Reverend Rogers is a Hancock Scholar graduate of the Hunters Lane's class of 2006 and is now enrolled as a junior at Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. He is a double major in Bible and Finance. Rev. Rogers has received a certification in Business Administration from Harvard University.
Reverend Rogers has received many awards in his life. He has received Honor student awards, Citizenship awards, community services awards, and a great number of speaking awards. He was named Ambassador for the Marketing Business Academy. Reverend Rogers has received two distinctive businesses awards in DECA for his entrepreneur spirit. Reverend Rogers was voted "Most Likely to Succeed" and featured in the "America Careers" magazine about his internship with the Law office of Bart Durham.
Reverend Rogers is a motivational Speaker, and orator, and an entrepreneur. However, above all, Reverend Rogers is a saved, sanctified, and filled with the Holy Ghost child of God that strongly believes in the scripture, Romans 10: 17 Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
