Mr. Tim Nichols is a certified network engineer with more than 8 years experience. A former IBM Network Professional Network Engineer-Technician with over 6 years of experience, CCENT (CCNA Part 1 - ICND1), Network+ certified, A+ certified with eight years of experience with Cisco and Microsoft multi-vendor multi-protocol orientation in an Internet - Intranet - Extranet Wireless LWAP and Autonomous (WLAN 802.11a/b/g/n) and Infrastructure IP Networks and ATM environment. In over 9 year period Mr. Nichols has installed and configured hundreds of Cisco Routers and Switches. In addition to his experience in the field, Mr. Nichols has been an engineering consultant for Cisco Networks in providing Cisco network operations experience and guidance resolving design and implementation issues. Mr. Nichols assisted in subject matter experts, management, and customers on any network related issue that might be encountered on the enterprise network in which he recommended, installed, configured, and supported Fluke Netflow V. 9 traffic trending solution, Remediate SSH/TACACS on routers and switches as required. Expertise included upgrades to all Cisco devices to proper IOS code levels, backup IOS, documented VLANs and LAN/WAN IPs, managed projects using modern project management methodologies and project tracking software. Additionally, Mr. Nichols has vast operations experience resolving any network related issue that might encountered on the enterprise network including knowledge of vendor and ISP operating and escalation procedures.

Mr. Nichols studied at Tennessee State University in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and at the University of Memphis in Electrical Engineering.
